Whole-house UV disinfection with integrated filter housings

The UV Dynamics 400E Mini Rack combines a UVD400E ultraviolet disinfection unit, two Big Blue 20" x 4.5" prefilter housings, and a reversible mounting bracket in a pre-plumbed assembly. Its stated UV dose is 40 mJ/cm² at 10 GPM (37 L/min).

For cistern, spring, shallow-well, or pond-sourced water systems, select treatment around water quality, peak flow demand, and applicable project requirements.

Is this system right for you?

This system is intended for applications that are not required to use NSF Class A UV systems. Ohio requires Class A; most other states do not.

Filter cartridges sold separately: The required 5-micron sediment and carbon prefilters are not included. Add the 20" x 4.5" Big Blue Filter Element Set to complete the prefiltration setup.

Does the mini rack include filter cartridges?

No. It includes the two filter housings, but the required 5-micron sediment and carbon cartridges are sold separately.

What flow rate should I use when sizing the system?

The listed flow rate at a UV dose of 40 mJ/cm² is 10 GPM. The 13 GPM rating corresponds to a lower dose of 30 mJ/cm². Match your peak flow and required dose rather than treating the two ratings as interchangeable.
