TOPVALL Tank Buddy — Automatic Supplemental Fill for Rain Tanks & Cisterns
The Tank Buddy valve is ideal for bringing in a well water or municipal water supply to your rain tank when levels run low. The adjustable float system gives a level differential from 2 in. (50mm) up to 8 ft. (2.5m), minimizing the start/stop cycling of your pump or supply line. The change in level is fully customizable to your setup.

Principle of Operation
- The valve mounts at the top of the tank — fits through thin-walled tanks or screws into a threaded inlet
- As the tank empties, the weighted float travels down the cord until it hits the bottom stop, opening the valve to full flow
- The valve runs until the weighted float rises to the upper stop, lifting the arm and shutting the valve
- Set your pressure switch to turn the pump off at least one bar above the running pressure while the tank is filling
