Place the ball Seat #9 into the Tee Junction #6 ensuring the narrow end of the ball seat points down into the Diverter Chamber #4. Apply glue to the Diverter Chamber #4 and fit up against the Ball Seat #9 and hold until the glue sets. (Optional: Use a 45º bend adaptor to allow easier removal of the Screw Cap #10). Glue the Socket #14 to the bottom end of the Diverter Chamber #4.\n\t\u003c\/p\u003e\n\t\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e3.  Fix the assembled chamber directly to the wall in the desired position using the Wall Brackets.\n\t\u003c\/p\u003e\n\t\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e4.  Connect a Male \u0026amp; Female (M\u0026amp;F) Elbow #8b (if required) to the\u003cbr\u003eChamber Outlet #8 and connect the downspout #3. Select the appropriate Flow Control Valve #11 and insert into the Hose Connector #16, making sure the valve is inserted with the side marked “TOP” still showing. Place the Filter Screen #13 into position from the outside of the Screw Cap #10 and then attach the Hose Connector #16.\u003cbr\u003eAn extra filter screen that helps stop the Control Valve blocking is\u003cbr\u003eavailable from your local store. To install: After completing step 5, insert the Keeper Ring #1a into the Screen Cap #10 and then place the Optional Stainless Steel Primary Screen on top of the Keeper Ring #1a. If you are attaching your First Flush Plus to existing 90mm downpipes, install pipe reducers into the remaining First Flush Plus tee sockets. If you are attaching your First Flush Plus to existing 100mm downpipes, reducers are not required.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e6. Measure your existing downpipe and cut to create space for the First Flush Plus tee. The outlet of your diverter must sit at least 5.9” from the ground when fully assembled, so select your installation point and measure and cut accordingly. Ensure all cut edges are clean and smooth. Position your First Flush Plus T-junction in place by applying solvent weld glue to the sockets and pipe. Insert the pipe into the sockets or socket adaptors at either end of the First Flush Plus tee.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e7. Apply solvent weld glue to the end coupling socket and one end of your 4\" diversion chamber pipe and insert it firmly into the end coupling.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e8. Apply solvent weld glue to the socket of the ball seat and the other end of your 4\" diversion chamber pipe then insert it firmly into the socket and against the ball seat.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e9. Attach to the wall using the supplied brackets, supporting the unit until it is fully secured. The upper bracket should sit directly under the First Flush Plus tee where it will hold the weight of the unit.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e10. Place the ball inside your first flush diversion chamber through the end coupling and firmly screw the transparent, rapid release exit funnel with O-ring onto the end coupling to ensure a good seal.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e11. Attach the threaded coupling to your diversion chamber pipe applying solvent weld glue to the socket of the coupling and pipe, then push together and hold until the glue sets.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e12. Select the appropriate flow control washer and fit it into the hose connector with the side marked “TOP” showing. Start by using the Control Washer with the smallest gauge hole (lowest number).
