New for 2023 - we've redesigned our standard cistern pump to offer an integrated floating intake. This pump is ideal for whole-house water tank/cistern systems, and with the built-in floating intake, you can introduce cleaner water into your home by drawing from towards the top of your cistern where there is little sedimentation. Heavy sediment settles on the bottom 6" of your cistern, while lighter sedimentation gathers in the top 4-6". By having the intake for the pump float below the top sediment zone and above the bottom sediment zone, you will increase the lifespan of your in-home filters while getting overall cleaner water!
And don't be fooled by other pumps on the market that advertise larger horsepowers - our Springer Series 1/2HP is powerful enough to supply great water pressure and flow to small, medium, and large residential homes for optimal whole house use.

This TRADITIONAL pump can be compared with the Franklin C1 model. Not only did we make this pump to last, but we even added an integrated low-level float switch to automatically turn the pump off when the water in your tank gets too low. Like other traditional-style pumps, this pump requires the use of a pressure tank (at least 16 gallon capacity, though we recommend a minimum of a 20-gallon tank) and an external pressure switch, like the one included in our pump control/tank tee kit.
