A 40/60 pressure switch with a built-in low pressure cut-off — designed to protect your pump from running dry by shutting off when pressure drops below a safe threshold.
Features
- Captive nut on cover
- Pressure switch pipe connection: 1/4" female NPT
- Adjustment instructions printed inside the top cover
- Contact points open on cut-out pressure (switch off)
- Contact points close on cut-in / pressure drop (switch on)
- Each turn of the adjustment screw = 2 PSI
Important Notes
- Factory-set pressure range is ±8 PSI. Field adjustments may be needed — this is normal, not a defect.
- The maximum operating pressure of the pump and system must be a minimum of 12 PSI above the switch shut-off setting. Use outside these parameters is not warranted.
- Pressure switches overheated or burned up due to rapid cycling are not covered under warranty.
