DRAW THE CLEANEST WATER FROM YOUR CISTERN WITH OUR FLOATING INTAKE SLEEVE:
For use with our Springer Series Automatic Pump and our Springer Series Traditional Pump this floating intake sleeve will reduce your maintenance costs and better your water quality. Sediment that gathers inside your cistern will concentrate at the bottom of the tank. Therefore, the highest quality water in a cistern is just below the surface of the water, where sedimentation is light. The floating intake filter acts as an uptake point for a pump, taking water from just below the surface. By using a floating intake filter with your submersible cistern pump, you're guaranteeing intake of the cleanest, highest quality water. Moreover, by reducing the sedimentation on your incoming water supply, your in-home sediment filters will last longer, saving you money!
Kit Assembly includes:
(4’) 1-1/4” Tiger Flex
(1) Wisy Coarse stainless steel floating intake
(2) Hose clamps
(1) PVC sleeve assembly
The floating filter shouldn't require maintenance if tank is outfitted with pre-filtration, such as our Wisy Vortex Roofwasher Filters.
