If you are installing a float switch inside your water tank, you will either need to tie it off (tether it to) a pipe, a pump, or something else inside the tank that is stable and unmoving. If you don't have something available to tether to, then this Plastic Weight is exactly the thing!
1) Remove cable clip from the cable weight by lifting tab upward until it releases from notch and pull directly away.
2) Determine activation level, place float switch cable in slot of the cable weight with clip removed and tether to appropriate length
3) Secure float switch cable by pressing cable clip into slot until it clicks and stops snug against cable without pinching. Perform a pull test; if float switch cable slips, press cable clip into the next notch.
4) Suspend the float switch with cable weight at determined activation level using a mounted float bracket or per local codes
