Normally Open Float Switch 120/230V — Low-Level Pump Protection

Made in the USA by Alderon Industries. A "Normally Open" float switch turns the pump off when the water level drops too low. As the water level falls, the float flips down and opens the circuit, cutting power to the pump before it can run dry.

This is the most effective way to protect your cistern or rain tank pump from burning up. When a pump draws air instead of water, it loses suction and the motor overheats — eventually burning out. Installing this float switch ensures the pump shuts off before the tank is depleted.

Our Normally Open 120/230V Float Switch is a 13-amp rated pump-duty switch with heavy-duty contacts for maximum pump starting loads.
